Ruthie Southall, Architectural Designer

Ruthie was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Through her intranational and international travels, she continues to learn the importance of community, the value of diversity, and the significance of equity. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree and spent her fifth year developing a thesis project to explore community building and equitable architecture in Jackson, Mississippi.

While working towards architectural licensure, Ruthie hopes to contribute to the design world in a mindful and meaningful way. She aspires to create designs which possess the capability to withstand time and improve the lives of those who experience them. Ruthie is passionate about the profound qualities that the built world possesses and tries to both challenge and incorporate them in her design approach.
